Getting Started with Enrollment - What is Involved?

Once a parent/guardian has contacted us, they will be scheduled for an interview with a member of our staff. During the interview, there will be a short orientation, and we will ask both the parent/guardian and the child questions to get to know him or her better – with the hopes of eventually making the best possible match.

After the interview is complete, we will begin looking for a Big Brother or Big Sister for each child accepted into our program. When we find the right match, we will propose the match to the parent/guardian for approval. Upon approval, we will conduct a match introduction where everyone has the opportunity to meet – and if all goes well, the match will be on its way!

Throughout the life of the match, an assigned Match Support Specialist will check in regularly with the parent/guardian, the child, and their Big. We provide optional group activities throughout the year, such as sporting events and seasonal attractions.
