Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Mass/Metrowest focuses on changing the perspectives of children who need us and giving them an opportunity to achieve great things – making a big difference in their lives and helping them to achieve their potential.
Making a BIG Difference starts with you
Your financial investment in the work of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Mass/Metrowest helps us create vibrant and productive matches between Bigs and Littles, and instantly makes you a part of our BIG family. Contributions from people like you have made it possible for us to improve the lives of over 1,400 children across our 40-town service area last year.
We all understand that it isn't easy being a kid these days. In such complex and confusing times, now more than ever, children need a caring adult to be a mentor and a friend – someone they can talk to and have fun with. Kids who have a Big Brother or Big Sister show real differences in their personal and academic lives, and the way they view the future.
We know that you want your contributions to directly support youth mentoring, so your donation will be used to:
- Recruit Big Brother and Big Sister volunteers
- Cover the costs of background checks and insurance
- Ensure that trained professionals match children to caring, responsible Bigs
- Offer one-on-one, ongoing supervision and support for every match
- Provide cultural and social activities for children who would not otherwise have the opportunity to experience them
